2008 has been another successful year for the Partnership; 58 of the Infant, Junior, Primary, Secondary and Special schools in the Partnership achieved an Active Mark or Sports Mark.
The awards are given to those schools were at least 90% of pupils across the school were doing at least 2 hours high quality PE and school sport a week.
A list of those schools who have achieved the Kite Mark is available to download by clicking on the tab below.
For more information about the PE and Sport Strategy for Young People (PESSYP) and the new 5 hour Offer which states “All children and young people aged between 5–16 years should have the opportunity to participate in five hours of sport per week by 2011 (including two hours of high quality PE and sport at school)”
