Brighton and Hove TAKEPART Primary/Junior Schools' Athletics Championships 2011

The Dorothy Stringer School Sport Partnership in conjunction with the TAKEPART Festival are hosting the inaugural Brighton and Hove TAKEPART Primary and Junior Schools' Athletics Championships to be held at Withdean Stadium on Thursday 30th June, and Friday 1st July 2011.

To accommodate all of the schools the event will now take place over two days with the Small Schools' Championships being held on Thursday 30th June, and the Big Schools' Championships being held on Friday 1st July. On both days the Championships will start at 09.30 am, with an estimated finish time of 1.00 pm.

The Championships are for years 4, 5 and 6, girls and boys, with sprints, relays, middles distance races and field events taking place. All competitors will receive certificates with the first three in each event receiving medals. Trophies will be presented to the divisional winners plus overall winners in the relay, jumps and throws competitions.

When you have submitted your on-line application you will receive an invoice from Dorothy Stringer High School for £25, this being your school's contribution to the cost of medals, certificates and administration.

Please do not register your school and then withdraw at a later date as this disrupts the whole administrative structure of the meeting.
